Set out on an unforgettable 8-day journey crafted to highlight the finest riding terrains of New Zealand's South Island.

Prepare to navigate more than 40 river and water crossings.

Although an itinerary is in place, it's adaptable to suit the group's preferences. Prior off-road riding experience is recommended to make the most of this adventure.

 

Spanning over 2,000 kilometres, with at least 65% of the route on dirt and gravel roads, this trip offers both challenges and immense rewards.

The Ride

Night 1 - Riders get picked up from the Wellington Airport and taken to our arranged accommodation for the night

Day 1 - Breakfast at 6:00AM.
Departure for the ferry to Picton at 6:30AM (230KM+) 

Destination- Hanmer Springs

Day 2 -Riders have breakfast and are ready to leave at 8:30am. Traveling to Geraldine (310KM+) POI - LeesValley

Day 3 - 8:00am Departure for Kurow via Lake Tekapo 

(300KM+) POI -Lake Pukaki, Black Forest Station

Day 4 - 8:30am Departure for Alexandra via Danseys Pass 

(180KM+) POI - Danseys Pass Hotel

Day 5 - 8:00am Departure for a loop back to Alexandra via 

the Nevis and Piano flats (320KM+) POI - TheObelisk

Day 6 - 8:30am Departure for Queenstown via Skipper Canyon. Return to Alexandra (250KM+)

Day 7 8:00am Departure for Kurow via Lake Onslow. 

(310KM+)

Day 8 - 8:00am Departure for Christchurch via Hakataramea Valley and MacKenzies Pass. (340KM+)

Day 9 - 9:30am Departure to drop participants off at Christchurch Airport

  • Drop-off at Christchurch Airport the day after the tour finishes.

EXCLUSIONS

  • Motorcycle riding gear - The individual rider is responsible for having the appropriate rider safety gear including a appropriate helmet with visor or goggles, gloves, boots and clothing.

  • Meals - No meals other than breakfast are included in this ride. Each stop offers a variety of dining options. All meals other than breakfast are at individuals cost.

  • Flights to and from Christchurch.
